Do you remember when there were still scooter and bike shops that you could wander into, have a chat, rummage for a part for a few quid, get some advice for free and they didn’t take your arms and legs off for the price of a bottle of 2 stroke oil? These values aren’t quite dead yet and you don’t have to be a club member to find help, advice and negotiable prices.
Wheelbase is an independent youth charity now venturing into the commercial world for scooter and motorcycle parts and spares on a social enterprise basis. Our trade contacts and growing stock of secondhand parts allow us to raise some money for our charity whilst offering an old school friendly service by riders for riders that isn’t all about how much we can extract from your wallet.
We can supply or order new parts and spares, with used alternatives where available as we expand our existing stock, and can also get hold of tuning parts and custom accessories.
We can offer very competitive rates on workshop services whether you are after workshop space, tools and time to do the work yourself with help and advice at hand, or want us to do it for you (although we are only human so please book in advance if you want us to do the work!) We have fabrication equipment allowing for sheet metal restoration, aluminium and stainless fabrication and welding.
We are open to negotiation with clubs for discounts and very open to ideas for things we could do in school holidays/out of hours such as scooter maintenance courses or similar, as we are an established motor vehicle educational centre and can offer online national tests, IMI accredited courses or tailored training. We have rooms and facilities available for hire for meetings etc. with secure off street parking in our workshop for two-wheelers.
