  • Equal opportunities
  • Self awareness
  • Offending behaviour
  • Moving on

The course content is similar to that of the PHSE and Citizenship courses delivered in schools.

Partnership working

We work with many other agencies to ensure the welfare of our clients and enrich their time at Wheelbase. These include:
  • The Impact Project with Notts Fire Service to help prevent vehicle crime.
  • Safestart driving course.
  • Short courses with organisations such as Weston Spirit.
  • Visits from the School and Community Nursing Service to ensure clients have access to appropriate help and advice and that they receive their end of school innoculations.
  • Free contraception and sexual health advice on site through the "C"Card scheme.
  • Visits to Glen Parva "Last Chance" Project as a deterrant to offending.
  • Outdoor activities such as gym visits, five-a-side football, The Arches Adventure Base, bike rides and camping trips.

All these are intended to foster a responsible, healthy lifestyle and improve social skills.
