Most of our young people (and the majority of the staff!) enjoy riding and maintaining motor bikes. Owning your own motorcycle, being able to ride it safely and legally and maintain it in a safe condition is not only a pleasure, it gives a young person more scope when he tries to obtain employment. Therefore, it is one of our priorities at Wheelbase.

 

We currently rent part of a farmer's field to which we take a selection of bikes for the young people to ride. Most of the bikes have been donated to us, some, which have been stolen and recovered, have been donated to us by Nottingham Police. These trips are always eagerly awaited by the clients.
