We have an increased number of places available this year and everyone on the waiting list has already been offered a place. There are some places still available and we urge you to apply as soon as possible. Our academic year runs from September to July and we often have activities during the holidays.

We have had some queries concerning client transport to Wheelbase, schools have indicated they are finding taxi fares prohibitive. If there is enough interest, Wheelbase would like to offer a subsidised transport to and from our classes for full-time students. Please mention when booking if this is of interest to you. We will collate names and addresses and when there are enough, we will offer the service at a competitive rate.

Details of placements available: full-time (school term-time); part-time options can be available subject to circumstance.

Outcomes: Exam Boards are OCR & IMI; we offer up to 10 GCSE equivalents.

Areas of learning include: Workshop Practical Skills; Varied tasks around Motor Vehicles; Classroom Literacy & Numeracy; Life & Social Skills Training; Duke of Edinburgh's Award; Outdoor Pursuits.

Fees: Please enquire about our rates. Fees are invoiced half-termly.

Extras: All examination fees. You may opt to pay lunch and/or transport costs on behalf of your pupil and we will happily administer this. All extras will be billed periodically at cost.

We have regular fire, health & safety checks as suitable for an Independent School. We are happy to provide (on request) information on our insurance policies and copies of Wheelbase policies & procedures. All staff, Board and volunteers are CRB and List 99 checked and approved.
